Chena Hot Springs Road Mile 39.6 — Chena River SRA

Description

Rocky riverbar camping along the Chena River inside the Chena River State Recreation Area, reached via a signed access road off Chena Hot Springs Road at mile 39.6. Two forks lead to separate flat, open bars — the right fork over river rock, the left over gravel with some rutted sections — both with room for large rigs and outhouses on site. Established fire rings at each area and the Tors Trailhead sits just up the road, making this a practical base for both river time and trail access.
