Sun Lakes-Dry Falls State Park operates year-round on 4,027 acres of channeled scablands terrain east of Coulee City. The park accommodates RVs up to 58 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections, plus a dump station for self-contained units. Campers can access sites by driving in, walking to designated areas, or arriving by boat via the park's water access points.
The facility provides drinking water, restrooms with showers, and WiFi connectivity. Pets are welcome throughout the campground. Reservations are available for those planning ahead, though the park accepts walk-ins when space permits. For campers wanting a smaller-scale experience, Laurent's Sun Village Resort sits 1.8 miles southwest with a more intimate setting.
Description
Sun Lakes-Dry Falls State Park is a 4,027-acre camping park with 73,640 feet of freshwater shoreline at the foot of Dry Falls between Soap Lake and Coulee City. Carved by Ice Age floods more than 13,000 years ago, the former waterfall was once four times the size of Niagara Falls. Today, the 400-foot-high, 3.5-mile-wide cliff overlooks a big sky and a landscape of deep gorges and dark, reflective lakes. The park also offers trout fishing, hiking trails, and nine hole and miniature golf.
