We loved the location of this campground. It was very close to the hot springs and town. It was very hot when we stayed and would have loved if they had showers. Overall a great campground though !
It was a good campground to have somewhere to stay for a night. The bathrooms and firewood for purchase was a major plus. Highway sound and site proximity were two big negatives.
This was a great campsite on the banks of Newton creek. Very clean, host was super friendly as were camping neighbors. Stayed two nights and really loved it. Great vibe. Hardsides only because of bear activity
Sites are good size and relatively private. Not totally level but that helped w runoff. Showers were closed due to COVID but other facilities were well maintained. Canyon is good central location in the park and great for Hayden Valley and Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.
Awesome location inside Yellowstone. The campsites are more spaced apart than in other campgrounds which was nice. There are a couple of resident bison in the campground that walk around wherever they like. Pretty awesome sight! As usual, $28 a night and $10 for a box of firewood. No hookups.

If you're super last minute like us this is a great option in Yellowstone. It is one of a few 1st come 1st serve CG here, but it fills up fast in the peak season. Ranger station opens at 8am to register for spots but you can go in early and claim an open spot and pay when the station opens. …
We had a great time at this campground...some excitement the first morning as a young grizzly wandered into our campsite and we had to back into our camper and rooftop tent. Host security and rangers were very helpful. Facilities were clean. Note that there is no cell reception. Conveniently…
There are many dispersed campsites along the road before & after the official M-K sites. Most are river front and have fire pits. There is a turn around for large rigs at the end of the road (cross the river 3 times). Decent graded gravel road with some potholes.
Very nice campground with roaming buffaloes. We did the hike from the site and also saw some deer.
Though we only had electricity the park provided privacy and views that surpassed all expectations. I was taken back when I went to the bath house and had to pay to take a shower. But the water pressure was nice and the temperature was nice and hot. No disappointment there!
All pull-thru sites. 50, 30 and 20 amp service with water and sewer. Sites are short. When we checked in they asked us to park behind are bumper pull camper. The site was to short. So the said we could park in the next site over. Camper was parked in D2 and truck in D1. Nice clean rest room…
Amazing views and very quiet. It’s going to be full but not like Colter Bay which is crazy crowded. If you want to avoid crowds this is a good option
Make sure to stay by the river. Breathtaking views. Nice pull through sites with room for tents and hammocks on the same site
Quiet campground on the North end of Teton. Great spot if you're traveling to or from Yellowstone. Our spot shared a parking lot with three other campsites. With a short 50 foot walk from the parking spot to the campsite. This campsite offered good privacy from our neighbors. Fire ring with…

Fantastic campsite if you can book it. Had to book the second they opened up the reservations. Our site was a short walk to the creek. Fantastic and informative camp hosts. There was a bison in the middle of the campground!! Drinking water from a hand pump well. Fire ring with rotating grill…
