Tough Creek Loop

This site has multiple campgrounds. You have to reserve them online through, and it is NOT an easy site to navigate. Otherwise, we were driving through & this was an excellent spot for the kids to cool off in the water & spend the night. There were trees for some shade.…

Hot Springs by the River

We went by, but ended up not staying. Not because of the park, but we wanted to be downtown this time. The new owners are working hard on maintenance and upgrades. Concrete pads. Full hookups. Shower house (needing updates, but understand they are in the works). Best of all? 1600 sq ft…

2nd time around.

We stayed here 2 years ago. That is our test. Would we be back? The answer was yes. So, here we are in site #4. Staff is super friendly. Cute downtown, with health food store & brewery. Hot Springs State Park close. Recommend the free state mineral pools. Grocery store, dollar store…

Relaxing Weekend

Coming from Casper this trip was a quick and easy drive for a weekend out of town. We stayed at upper campground and there were a lot of spots that overlooked the river. There’s a good amount of open space in the middle of campground, surrounding the playground. Also, stairs for easy water access…

Camping and Beer near climbing? Sign me up!

We stayed here on a Friday and Saturday in July of 2018 while on a climbing trip. The brewery offered dispersed tent camping on their spacious front lawn for $5/night and, given the number of vans present in the parking lot, I'd imagine they offered van camping at the same price. As far as standard…

Camel Trek - Night 11

Rolled down off the snowy Powder River Pass in the Bighorn National Forest and through the Wind River Canyon to find the most incredible sunset site overlooking the Boysen Reservoir at the “Brannon Campground”. It was suuuuper windy but we had spectacular views.

We were here in early November.…

Ok RV park, near great attractions

The RV itself wasn't great. The bathrooms were acceptable, not overly clean but not dirty either. Had a little laundry room with 2 washers and dryers. The sites are ridiculously close together and your neighbor's sewer hookup is nearly in your site. It is close the the mineral hot springs, though,…

High Altitude Camping

Nice campground at 10,500 feet above sea level! Very rocky terrain. No electricity or sewer for RV's. 2 water pumps, which were shut off when we were there end of September. Lovely sounds of the North Fork Little Laramie River. Hiking available. Apparently used a lot by 4-wheelers; quite a…

Wyoming diamond

Buffalo Creek Campground is a couple miles down the road from Graves Spring Campground. They both boast the same amenities (fire pits, picnic tables, trash, restroom, creek access, and wildlife). However, Buffalo Creek has half the sites- so, it is more intimate. There is great fishing within 11…

Gorgeous! Well maintained! Free!

Grave springs boasts over 10 sites with picnic tables, fire pits, restrooms, and trash. The scenery is unbelievable. Dark sky's at night reveal the milky way. Wildlife include fox, racoons, squirrels, skunk, elk, deer and fish! The creek runs through the campground. Close by are amazing scramble…

It was hard to connect with Christine upon check-in. She was not in the office at 3:30pm and she knew we were arriving. We set up and I checked back in and no one was there. Then she got busy with RV’s. The office didn’t open until 8am so again we left. I tried to call to give my CC. They cram the…

Fun lake

There is fun lake for families and friends of all ages about 5 minutes away. Rocks to jump off, live music and boats are allowed. The campground had nice space, fire rings and picnic tables. Fun campgrounds keepers and a pretty river to watch the sun go down on!

Love the hot pools, campground needs work

Campground is a little run down. RV sites are extremely close to one another. We stopped here for a day pass to use the hot pools. Hot pools are great! $10/person. The park does have WiFi and staff are very friendly. Convenient location near Hot Springs State Park.

Great place to go

Buffalo Creek Campground is nestled in the southern Big Horns. Beautiful location. Small with only five sites, which is perfect. The sites all have fire pits with grills over them, picnic tables as well. A beautiful stream passes through the campground. For a night in the Big Horns, this…
