Popple Creek bends through the northwoods of Chequamegon National Forest, where this dispersed site sits above the water in the quiet lake country of north-central Wisconsin. The main clearing can accommodate a couple of rigs, though a noticeable slope makes leveling a consideration; a secondary flat area near the entrance offers overflow parking. A seldom-used stone fire pit marks the site, and a foot trail drops down to the water below.
