Emily Lake NF Campground is located near Lac Du Flambeau in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. The area features forested terrain with numerous lakes and rivers. Campers can explore nearby attractions such as the Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest and enjoy temperatures ranging from 60°F to 80°F in summer and 0°F to 30°F in winter.

## Recreation

 Boating and fishing are popular activities on the lake, with excellent bass and pan fish available. The area holds many opportunities to encounter rare species of fish, wildlife and plants. Bird watching, nature study programs and viewing the vivid fall foliage are also among popular activities for visitors. Nearby hunting opportunities for big game, upland game birds, waterfowl and small game, exists across the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Fishing for trout or other game fish is available in any of the 600 available lakes or 1,200 miles of stream. For hiking enthusiasts, 800 miles of trails are located throughout the north woods. For those that enjoy quiet places, the forest contains five designated Wilderness areas and several semi-primitive non-motorized areas. Motorized recreation is also available to the public, with approximately 300 miles of designated trail winding through the diverse landscape.

 The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest covers more than 1.5 million acres of Wisconsin's Northwoods. The sparse population of the area and low visitor use, make the wild and scenic beauty of the forest that much more enjoyable. Hundred of miles of maintained trails make this area a hikers paradise. The pristine Emily Lake provides a breathtaking backdrop for a traditional camping experience.

Quiet park 

Lake Emily is in Florence county. Very popular from opening to clean see of the season. Great lake and views. Boat ramp fishing grills. Many well forested campsites. Well maintained and clean. Open areas for groups outside of camping area. Good for pop-up and tents. And room for some larger campers. Great area with lots of wildlife.

Quiet but active

This small, rustic campground is a quiet beauty. The road in added to the remote feeling. Most campsites have plenty of private space. Vault toilets are centrally located. In the middle of the week there were still empty sites to choose from. However from looking on Google it seems to be a popular spot so weekends may fill up. 

Emily Lake is beautiful. A small, public boat launch right in camp. We would love more hiking trails but we ventured out to see the local sites. This is one to remember for return visits.
