Pacific Beach Resort and Conference Center (Military Camping Only)

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Military access defines this campground from the start. Open to active duty, retired, and federal employee campers, Pacific Beach Resort and Conference Center sits directly on Washington's coast, with 43 RV sites and 15 camping sites backed by full hookups including electric, water, and sewer. The property also has a dump station, showers, laundry, and WiFi, making it a genuinely well-equipped base rather than a bare-bones overnight stop.

Reviewers consistently point to the on-site cafe as a practical perk. Neil B. noted the clam chowder as "very tasty" and described the cafe as "very nice and reasonable." Sites run large and spacious, and the beach is close enough to drive on. The resort stays open year-round, so shoulder-season visits are possible, though the Washington coast brings frequent overcast and rain outside of summer months.

The surrounding town of Pacific Beach has limited dining and shopping options, and at least one reviewer found local prices high. Grocery runs and meals in Seabrook, a short drive south, tend to offer better value and more variety. Ocean Shores is also within reach for day trips. For campers weighing other options in the area, Pacific Beach State Park Campground sits nearby and is open to the general public. Those browsing camping near Pacific Beach will find the resort does not appear in standard searches due to its military-only access.

Reservations are available and recommended, particularly for summer stays when the Washington coast sees heavier traffic.

Clean and well kept!

Very well kept RV park with cafe and coffee shop, large and spacious sites, laundry, electric/water, and dump station. Close to beach you can drive on. Town around it is a dump as well as the pacific beach RV park. We stayed 3 nights and used it as a hub to explore ONP, the beaches, and Seabrooke. Recommend grocery shoping and food in Seabrooke as the town shops are overpriced.

Convenient, Affordable, staff is very friendly and clean nice facilities.

This is our second time using a military campground. (Camp Rilea in Oregon is the other one, which we also liked.) We now have a motorhome and trailer our small Suzuki 4WD Jimny for beach access. This was a rest and recoup trip so didn't bring my Blokart for beach sailing this time. Pet friendly and nice fellow veterans as neighbors. We will be back here again soon. Forgot to take pictures, was off and on rainy. The cafe is very nice and reasonable. Clam chowder is very tasty. Short drive to any of the other areas you may want to go. Seabrook has some nice restaurants. A bit pricy but it is a tourist town. Kokos Mexican was really good and the Grocery store is very good. Ocean Shores is not that far away. Next time we may explore North. Great base of Ops to explore from.
