The Best Camping Near Forks, Washington

This has large sites and are fairly secluded from each other. Has a nice creek as well and is close to the hoh River. I was here in the beginning of June after some rainfall so the creek may or may not dry up. The river obviously doesn’t tho. Has a boat launch too and most the sites have enough room for your vehicle and trailer

Very large sites

Beautiful campground secluded with large sites. Campground is first come first served and requires a discovery pass. The discovery pass can be purchased online and you can write the transaction number down to use in your windshield. The campground is close to the hoh rainforest and does get pretty frequent rain.

Gorgeous 

This campsite was amazing! It was clean, quiet, lush, and right near a river, perfect for swimming! Our campsite had a nice picnic table, fire pit, and shaded area for the tent. The bathrooms were pretty yucky, but to be expected when camping. Also lots of flies, so bring bug spray! 

Peaceful getaway!

I stayed here for two nights in late July. Arrived on a Sunday afternoon and there were three spots still open. It is free with a discovery pass which is required. There is one vault toilet which didn’t have any TP so be sure to bring some. There’s no camp host. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. Not a lot of sunshine coming through in most sites so isn’t great for long stays when you rely on solar. No trash so pack it all out. Most Sites are ￼large enough to accommodate several vehicles or larger rigs. 

Great spot and very quiet 

When we got to the campsite, it was just all filled up, this was definitely our fault (we came too late) but still sucked. We ended up driving a little further down the road and camping in some random spot. It was a nice little place, some sites were too close to each other but still had pretty good spacing.


Too crowded

Didn't get to stay, as I needed cell signal during stay timeframe.  However, beautiful nice spots, very damp and soggy with recent rains and since is flat, leaves some areas needing to be watched.
Also, no cell signal.. T_mobile or Verizon.
Lots of distance between sites, various foliage between sites.

Beautiful seclusion 

Great stay at this secluded campground in the rainforest! We were the only ones there which was nice. Pit toilet was fine, just no TP so be prepared. Free with the discovery pass, which you can buy online for annual or daily, just display on dashboard. Buggy in May, so I can assume it’s even worse in warmer months. Great stop overall!

Near Olympic NP

Just a wet area. Chilly but manageable. Firepit is useless.
