Grove Getaways is located near varied terrain with forests and open spaces. The area experiences temperatures ranging from 30°F in winter to 80°F in summer. Nearby attractions include Mount Rainier National Park and the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, offering opportunities for hiking and wildlife observation.

10 minutes from Bonney Lake, 15 minutes from Lake Tapps and one hour from Mt Rainier. We have 40 acres of sloped land with trails, wildlife, and nature to explore. Your tent site has territorial views of South Prairie and includes a fire pit. Owners live on the property about a quarter mile away from the tent site, where you will find a communal kitchen and bathroom available for use.

The Best Camping Near South Prairie, Washington

Absolutely beautiful! Very welcoming and queer friendly! The yurt was lovely but it’s definitely meant for the cooler months. However, the celestial yurt had electricity and a little fan that kept it cool even on the hottest week of the summer. Hot tub is wonderful but is clothing optional, so maybe not great for families. But it’sperfect for couples! The camp is about an hour from the north side of the mountain but still pretty close to some great hiking trails!
Only thing is there’s not a lot of of privacy in between sites and construction is going on most of the day and is very loud.
