Description
Tucked against the Cascades corridor of the Mountain Loop Highway near Barlow Pass, this Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest pullout sits amid dense old-growth forest with a river running close enough to swim. Pull-offs on both sides of the road lead to informal tent sites nestled among the trees — the terrain is uneven roadside but workable for smaller rigs up to about 25 feet. A fire ring with a carved-log bench adds a rough-hewn charm, and no cell signal means genuine quiet; satellite messaging is the only link out.
