The Best Camping Near Quincy, Washington

Very nice, clean and well maintained campground. The grass and landscaping is immaculate. The sites are large and spread out. There are only a few select spots with partial shade. This campground is a great spot to relax, soak up the sun or watch a set of A-18 Fighter Jets fly through the valley while training.

Great spot to relax and soak up the sun!

A great campground.  The sites are large and well maintained.  This place is very kid friendly.  There are a tone of paved trails for bike riding or walking. The Columbia river is feet away and has plenty of access points.  The spots are great for tents or RVs, and there is access to plenty of boat launches. This is a must visit campsite.  It needs to be on your list of places to stay.

What a campsite!

We made a 2 day stop here during the smoky week in September. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds we’re extremely well kept and the pads had all the hookups for the RV. We used all of the biking trails and will be back.

Stayed here while in the area to do a trail run. The campground is super well maintained, with plenty of parking at every spot. If you are tent camping, they have ~16' gravel pads for a tent at each site. 

  

You will likely be surrounded by moderately high-end RVs. We definitely felt like the hillbillies of the park rolling up in [Leif the Adventure Van](https://www.10toestravel.com/leif/). 

  

Not a lot of food choices close by, with a pizza place and the clubhouse up the road being your only choices unless you want to drive into Quincy.

It's a beautiful place and we have stayed there several times, but hold on to your wallet!  If for some reason you have to cancel your reservation they will RIP YOU OFF with their unfair and completely exploitative cancellation policy.  In our case, we wanted to cancel and then planned to re-book later in the fall, which is also a great time to visit Eastern WA.  We called 7 weeks ahead to let them know we could not come when we had planned to.  They kept HALF of our fee ($237.50) even though there is ample time for them to re-book the site.  Yes, their paperwork does state their policy, but that doesn't make it FAIR.  Most other campgrounds charge a nominal fee and are OK with cancelling up to 48 hours ahead.  But 7 weeks ahead?  Give me a break.  This campground was funded with tax $$ too-Grant County PUD and now has contracted out the management to the Central Washington Management Group in Quincy.
