This park is HUGE. We explored it on foot the first night, but really kept to our section for the next few days. We stayed in the full hookup section so I can only speak to phone service and WiFi in that area. We were also able to choose any open spot in the full hookup area and we’re not assigned to anything specifically. Also, there were many folks who live there/ have stayed there for ages.

ATT& Verizon service worked well. Bathrooms were not cleaned daily, and looked like they were maintained only one day that we were there. There is hot water in the showers, but some of the handles are switched—and it took a long time to warm up. Also, shower stalls have no divide from one another so if there is anyone else in there at the same time I couldn’t imagine showering.

The full hookup area has lots of gorgeous old trees that provide privacy and shade.

We didn’t find dumpsters nearby our site or on the way out—so we used the trash cans at the bathroom.

Packwood is close by and a very cute little town—but some days it seems closed (Tuesday/ Wednesday.) There was also a forest fire close by that certainly could have changed the normal course of life in the area.
