Wilson Creek Site 1

Fishing and swimming enthusiasts will find direct access to Wilson Creek at this dispersed National Forest site. Located on the left side of Douthat State Park Road after leaving Douthat State park Campground, the flat area between the creek and road accommodates small to medium RVs or several tents. The site offers enough space for comfortable setup with campfires allowed under forest service regulations. Additional areas may extend into the wooded sections beyond the main clearing, though these remain unexplored by recent visitors. The location provides a launching point for hiking and biking trails throughout the surrounding national forest, with kayaking opportunities along Wilson Creek itself.
