Great park

I have been here a few times with my family. We usually stay in site A because it’s not far from the camping store where the wood is. The wood is $6 and it is the honor system after hours. If you go to the camping store while it’s open you can pay for the wood with credit card. The bathrooms are pretty nice and have showers as well. The camping site is pretty busy on the weekends and you should look at reserving or showing up early to make sure you get a site.

The park is very nice and has a lot some good hiking trails. When COVID wasn’t happening they had a pool that was open and pretty big. My understanding is that this won’t be open for 2021 but you can call to make sure. They still have a nice beach on the river though that you can swim in. There is also a good size playground and the park has some activities on the weekends sometime but again call to check. This place is worth the trip and one of our go to spots.
