The site holds a couple of SUVs and has a primitive fire pit; the entrance is tight with overhanging trees, and the steep, leaf-covered approach favors high-clearance four-wheel-drive rigs — trailers should stay home. No cell service along the road or at camp, and on clear days the surrounding terrain opens up to views toward the nearby overlooks to the north and southwest.
