Along the Blue Ridge ridgeline of George Washington National Forest, this small gravel pullout sits just off Forest Road 76, within easy reach of White's Gap Overlook and the surrounding mountain terrain. The spot occupies the head of a gated old road corridor — quiet, with a fire ring in place and a short informal trail leading to a tent-friendly clearing in the trees. Space is tight, fitting two vehicles at most; a 24-foot motorhome has made it in, but the site is better suited to vans, small trailers, and roof-top-tent rigs. Note that the FS 76 gate on the Blue Ridge Parkway approach may lag behind seasonal parkway openings — state Route 605 provides an alternate access.
