White Rock Bay Campground is great for groups of up to 16 people. Tents and self-contained RVs are welcome.
Two equestrian sites are available.
No water or electricity. Water is available at Bridger Bay Beach, the Dump Station, and the Visitor Center.
Pit toilets only. Flush toilets and showers are located at Bridger Bay Beach, 2  miles away.
Dogs on leash are welcome.
Fires are allowed in designated fire pits only. Seasonal fire restrictions may be in place. Firewood is available at the park Visitor Center.
Quiet hours are 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. This includes generators.
$40 per night.  Fee covers two vehicles.
$18 fee for additional vehicles.
Maximum site capacity is 16 people and four vehicles.

The Best Camping Near Hooper, Utah

Stayed here one night in Oct. 2015.  Beautiful star gazing, great temps.  A little buggy on the trails nearby, but no issues near the campsite.  There were awnings for the picnic tables which was great, and it was a short walk to the Great Salt Lake!  We don't advise mountain biking on the island though!  We ended up with 4 flat tires.  Also- there are cheap showers at the beach. ($1.50?)

Beautiful sunsets

There are several campgrounds you can choose from on Antelope island.  We enjoyed the day hikes and wildlife on the island, including buffalo.  The fee to cross the bridge and 10pm cutoff time was a bit of a pain but overall was very enjoyable camping and location.  It can be smelly due to the location, but definitely some unique views that I recommend!

Unique location

Beautiful, sweeping views but a little buggy this time of year, plus hot due to lack of shade. A memorable place though!

This campground was spaced out nicely and the sites were roomy. Everything for RVs was at the campground. There were a few ADA spots and I took one which had more concrete pads to maneuver on as amputee.

Only thing it needs is shade

This place has terrible bugs! Fantastic hiking. Recommend Frary Peak hike. Tons of wildlife.

Not a  destination but nice stopover. Willard Bay much nicer. It's hot and the great salt lake is not where one wants to cool off.

Hot and dry but iconic

Hands down the best [campground](https://stateparks.utah.gov/parks/antelope-island/camping-opportunities/) for sunset views on all of Antelope Island!  The sunsets in the fall, and winter are the best as the bugs have gone down considerably and therefore you won't get eaten alive!  Hues of all different kinds of colors reflect off the perfect mirror surface of the Great Salt Lake and give you an endless sunset much like at the Bonneville Salt Flats.  I would have given this campground 5 stars if there was any shade whatsoever but there isn't any!

This campground is pretty primitive in that there is no drinking water available and only vault toilets available with picnic tables and a fire ring at each campsite.  There are only 20 sites with 2 equestrian sites that go for 40$ a night.  The closest drinking water is at Bridger Bay Campground and there is also a grill on the island that is open during the summer.

Amazing Sunsets but no Shade 

The landscape is beautiful but I cannot stress to you enough the amount of biting gnats there were. It was unbearable for us and bug spray didn’t deter them one bit. 

Bugs bugs bugs

The campground is very spread out and provides lots of space between you &amp; other campers, so that’s a plus. The views of the island mountains and the Great Salt Lake were another plus. 

We visited in early May when the No See Ums were at their peak, so forget enjoying a campfire at dusk, or anything at dusk. Also, the campsites provide 0 protection from the wind. We were in a tent and the wind shook our tent back and forth all night. No sleep. But the views getting out of the tent in the morning were incredible. 

Pit toilets were clean enough. Campsite was large &amp; clean. 

Beautiful views, horrid bugs & sleep 

The campgrounds were very open with not many trees but a great view of the lake. We saw fox that came right up to our tent and lots of bison close by. Quiet place. 

Wide open space with wild animals

The lake is clear, shallow and warm for a good distance. There are a lot of bugs though. 

Clear Lake

The campground is small, and mostly RV residents.  We stayed in one of a small handful of tent sites.  Bathrooms are clean and there are two showers.  We never did meet any staff, nor residents.  It was very pretty... Until the wind hit.  I have never encountered such winds!  Had to chase everything!  I guess they close the tent sites in winter.  We stayed in early Sept. And we're told, by phone, that they weren't officially closed yet.  $15 per night.

Windy!

This was definitely a surprise, what a cool spot. Nice views, and bison will probably be grazing in your campsite. Did some exploring around to the south side of the island, enjoyed a nice sunset. It can get buggy, so be prepared.

We loved it

Depending on the time of year, this place can be infested with bugs and flies. So plan accordingly. That being said, it is pretty awesome to see Buffalo.
