 Anderson Meadow Campground is nestled above Anderson Meadow Reservoir in the Fishlake National Forest. The area boasts spectacular high mountain scenery and excellent fishing.
## Recreation

 Fishing for brook and rainbow trout in the eight-acre Anderson Meadow Reservoir is popular from either the shoreline or small non-motorized boat. Trailheads to the Piute ATV trail are close by. 
## Facilities

 Anderson Meadow Campground has eight single family campsites and two multiple family campsites. Sites are back-in only and will accommodate 24 to 40 feet long trailers. All units have prep tables, campfire rings and picnic tables. Drinking water is available throughout the campground. There are two vault toilets in the campground. Camping limit is 14 days. No hook-ups or dump station are available. The nearest dump station is located in Beaver, Utah.
## Natural Features

 The campground is surrounded by a mix of aspen and conifers. The trees provide a range of shade depending on campsite locations with a majority of the sites well-shaded. The Fishlake National Forest offers spectacular vistas and opportunities to view wildlife in their natural habitat. Elk, deer, black bear, moose, cougar and mountain goats are some of the large animals that call the forest home.

 The Piute ATV Trail is nearby; however there is no access directly from the campground. Be prepared to trailer ATVs to the nearby trailheads for access.

The Best Camping Near Junction, Utah

We love this campground. Our family takes a trip here at least once every year. The amenities are nothing to write home about but it's camping, what do you want? I certainly feel running water and a bathroom(that Btw the amazing camp host keeps incredibly clean for a forest bathroom) are more than enough.

There is a reservoir practally in the campground that is great for some relaxing fishing day or night. If you want to explore there is some great hiking to some hidden treasures among the trees. This is bear country and although we've never had a problem we have been lucky enough to see a mother and her cubs strolling through the meadow on the other side of the reservoir. One time we even had a deer stroll through the campground not 20' from our site. We love the high elevation and the view it gives of the stars at night. We will be coming here for years to come.

We loved it. Vault toilets, picnic tables but the best part was not being stacked on one another like the other campgrounds.

Great Campground

We have been coming here since 2005 and each year it gets better. We started with just friends and now we bring the whole family. The fishing is always fantastic in Anderson reservoir. Each of the 10 camp spots has it's own feel from cozy for 2 to group camping for 30. This place has what you need. 

Family Favorite 

This camp site is small and doesn’t have much space for RVS or anything like that so make sure to find a different location. Number 2 is a double campsite but you literally have a gorgeous view of Anderson meadows... so it’s booking worthy... the campsite has restrooms, fire ring and tent pads so that’s a bonus as well. Fishlake is amazing wherever you camp and the trout is ready be caught!!!

Lovely camp grounds, there is no trash bins but there is a large one on your way out of the area, so pack it out. It does get booked up, so book early with the reservations. Definitely recommend the drive up to camp. Short distance from Kent Lakes.
