[Dixie National Forest](https://thedyrt.com/camping/utah/near/dixie-national-forest) Te-ah Campground, near Cedar City, Utah, is a fantastic spot for those looking to escape into nature. With spacious, wooded sites that offer a good amount of privacy, it’s perfect for tent and RV camping alike.

This campground is all about the great outdoors, with no electricity or water hookups, which means you’ll be fully immersed in the natural surroundings. ## Overview

 Te-Ah Campground is located 28 miles east of Cedar City, Utah, in scenic Navajo Lake Basin. Touring bicycle groups commonly use Te-Ah as a stopover on their way through this beautiful corner of Utah. Fishing and canoeing on Navajo Lake are popular activities.
## Recreation

 Navajo Lake offers great canoeing, kayaking and fishing. Hiking and biking are popular activities as well. The Cascade Falls Trailhead is located in the campground. This beautiful trail has abundant wildlife and vegetation. The 34-mile Virgin River Rim Trail passes near the campground and is open to hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding.
## Facilities

 Te-Ah offers 41 single sites with picnic tables and campfire rings. One group site (#33) is available for up to a group size of 20 people. The site provides tables, bicycle wash and parking racks and a workspace for self-contained kitchens.Flush and vault toilets are provided and drinking water is piped from a spring. A newly paved road skirts the shoreline of Navajo Lake and leads to Te-ah on the lake's western edge, allowing good access for cars, trailers and bicycles. OHV/ATV's including street legal are not allowed in the campground. Please trailer them in and out of the campground. 
## Natural Features

 The campground is situated on the edge of a meadow high on the Colorado Plateau at an elevation of 9,200 feet. An aspen forest covers the campground. Navajo Lake can be viewed in the distance from several sites. 
## Nearby Attractions

 Boat rentals, a boat ramp, lodging and supplies are available at nearby Navajo Lake Lodge. Also Duck Creek Pond is eight miles east great for fishing with the kids as well as the Duck Creek Visitor Center. Cascade Falls, Ice Cave and Mammoth Cave are also near-by favorites! Cedar Breaks National Monument is a short 20 minute drive, with hiking trails, guided tours and breathtaking scenery.Just outside Cedar Breaks is the Ashdown Gorge Wilderness Area, where hikers will find 10 miles of trails and the Twisted Forest, a stand of ancient bristlecone pine.

The Best Camping Near Duck Creek Village, Utah

We chose site 24, which is in a great location in terms of not being close to other campers and we had enough space for three tents! It’s also beautifully surrounded by aspens. The only reason I gave four stars is because it is near a road to a ranch so during the day huge trucks of cows cast dirt all over the site. It’s close to bathrooms, trash cans, and two beyond beautiful hiking trails. And it is in driving distance to the Cascade Falls trailhead. Not to mention te-ah is only a mile (at most) from Navajo Lake, where you can go to the lodge and rent boats and fish. Highly suggest this campground!

An experience I won’t forget!

Spacious spots with trees all around. We tent camped. All spots pretty flat. Tables and fire rings at each site. Very short drive to the lake.

Pleasant and relaxing

Great campground - clean and quiet. We reserved a space toward the back, which offered lots of shade and privacy. Bathrooms were very clean. Short drive to Navajo Lake, where you can rent a boat, or fish from the shore or land bridge. Many other adventures nearby if you like to hike or ATV. Overall, great place. 

Lovely campground

Great secluded campground and spacious sites with Navajo lake down the road. Sites 1-19 are first come first serve. We stayed in site 19 the first night here. Was the better choice if you want the most privacy. Was a little close to a road, but not heavy traffic. The last two nights we had reserved at site 39. We loved this site the best. Walking around we had the most shade cover from trees then most other sites. And the deer will come walking through your sites as well. They do have flushing toilets and hand sinks, which is always a bonus. But no showers. They offer $6.00 showers at the cabins at Navajo lake, and also have a little general store to get snacks, ice, beer, fishing supplies and a few other things. If you like to hike and fish this is a great place! Lots of trails. Cascade falls is a great easy hike with a waterfall. No cellphone service. We will definitely be returning to this campground! 

Fabulous campground 

First stay and was perfect. Got spot 18 on FCFS. Was pulling 28 foot rig. They do not have water and sewer hookups. There is water spots throughout park, however the rv sewer dump and water area was closed. Had to drive 12 mins down road to Duck Creek campground for sewer and potable water fill up. No electricity at sites. Very wooded and sites are not on top of eachother. Had no cell reception with Tmobile. Did have spotty reception at Duck Creek campground. Only 5 mins from Navajo lake. 

Hidden gem past lake

This is a great area with lots to do! hiking, fishing Geocaching, etc! 

Our pull through site was a bit tight for our 30' TT but manageable.

Camp host's were friendly. 

We had Deer wandering throughout the camp ground and LOTS of Hummingbirds!!!

It was discovered quickly that we didn't bring enough food for them.

During out visit there was an issue with fly's but that's a nature issue not a camp-camp host - Forest service problem. 

Towards the end of our stay the forest service - camp host were needing to implement water restriction at their dump - fill station.
