Singleton CG Overlook

A short spur road off the main Forest Service route leads to this dispersed site managed by the USDA Forest Service outside Torrey, Utah. The approach includes one unavoidable bump that can scrape low-clearance vehicles, and the turnaround is tight enough to limit rigs to 15 feet. No amenities are on-site, though Singletree sits roughly a quarter mile away. Verizon users report 2-3 bars of cell service. The site overlooks Capitol Reef National Park with the Henry Mountains visible in the distance, making it a reasonable choice for campers who prioritize views over facilities.

Spur road over Singleton CG

Decent primitive camp on short spur road. No amenities but Singleton CG just down the road about 1/4 mile. Fairly high unavoidable bump to go over at first (I scraped a bit in a stock Tacoma) but nothing significant after that. Fairly tight turnaround. 2-3 bars Verizon service. Incredible view overlooking Capitol Reef NP with the Henry Mountains in the distance.
