This roadside pullout off McCoy Flats Road (CR 2260) sits on fairly flat ground and includes a rock fire ring and a natural windbreak — useful given the area's exposure to strong overnight winds. Numerous other pullouts are scattered across this stretch of BLM land, making it a flexible base for exploring the broader region.
