 Wilson H. Fox Park attracts a variety of campers looking for a fun-filled escape. In springtime, the campground is a colorful place covered in a blanket of wildflowers. In the hot summer months, there's no place like a lakeside campsite with a swimming beach, fishing dock and two ramps to set sail or paddle out on the lake.
## Recreation

 Whether it's sailing, swimming or water skiing, visitors have many options for fun out on the water. Fish for catfish, white bass or crappie. Just beyond the park, archery hunting for feral hogs is allowed year-round.
## Natural Features

 The campground is on the shores of Granger Lake, with the gently rolling hills of the Texas Blackland Prairie as a backdrop. Granger Lake is fed by the San Gabriel River and Willis Creek, and was formed in 1980 upon completion of the 16,000 foot long dam. 
## Nearby Attractions

 The Pecan Grove Wildlife Area is just east of Wilson H. Fox and sits below the dam. It provides plenty of opportunities for wildlife spotting, as well as a view above the dam. San Gabriel and Sore Finger Wildlife Areas are also worth a visit.

We had a quaint campsite with a Lakeview. 

Each campsite appeared to be level and clean. The sites were spaced out so that you’re not camping on top of one another.￼￼  Each space had a picnic table and grill. There was a fishing pier, boat ramp, and beach to swim at. Many of the camping spots can be reserved online, but the park maintains some camping spots for first-come.

This campsite is nice because it has a swimming  area as well as a ton of good fishing spots. Good facilities and camping spots. I’ve always had a good time here. 

I love this spot

Campground very clean.   C of E staff very friendly.   Not nearly as much lake traffic as Lake Belton or Stillhouse Hollow (both which are near by.  Lake is kinda remote from gas, food and such, but would absolutely go there again.  Very dog friendly!!! 

Excellent choice for camping on a relatively small lake in Williamson County 

You can find sites here that overlook the water, and have some paths down to the shore (some paths are sketchy though). Fire pit with a grill you can lay over or pull off. Charcoal grill. Covered areas for each site, and they are a good place to set up, and there are lots of hooks and nails to hang stuff up. 

Bathrooms seem iffy. One had intermittent water issues, not flushing. Automatic timed lights can be a pain. Especially if natural light is limited.

Our experience at this park was good. It was very hot but there was a covered picnic area which helped a lot. The spaces are spacious and parking was adequate. It was difficult to get to the water from our site but doable if you did not mind a little workout. The swimming area was great. They were not doing a good job of keeping the bathrooms clean. This was really our only complaint. I do recommend this park.

We come here every year. Quite, calm. Fishing, swimming, animal watching it has it all.

awesome campground.  if you study the park map it is very easy to find a spot with lots of shade.  spots are spacious, some large.  we stayed in site 24.  next closest neighbor was 75 feet or better away.  site 24 has the rv door facing east.  with the trees and pavilion, that side of the rv was in the shade all day.  50 amp service and water, no sewer at site.  dump station is easily accessible.   camp host was very friendly.  each site seems to have its own pavilion, which i have not seen before. especially at $26 per night.   some sites even had a screened-in bunkhouse.  has boat ramps and a swimming area.  the only con is the swimming area is a little far to walk to.  we will definitely be back.
