Guadalupe River RV Park is located just three miles West of US Hwy 281 or just 7 miles North of Texas Hwy 46 (24.5 miles Northwest of New Braunfels Texas) on Spring Branch Road on the crown jewel of the Hill Country, the beautiful Guadalupe River. Welcome to the Beautiful Texas Hill Country. We have created a family oriented RV park and campgrounds that we hope to further develop to become a resort that you will want to return to year after year. Within the park there is seven-tenths of a mile of Guadalupe River frontage. One man made access point that is a stone stairway down to the river. All other access points are natural. The Texas-sized RV spaces are some of the largest in the industry with 97' pull-thus that are 39 feet wide totaling over 3,500 square feet of space! There are also some smaller RV sites for the more compact units. Spacious tile restrooms and showers are located within close proximity to the tent camping area and the RV sites. Long and short term guests are welcome, and whether you are on your own or have a large group, we welcome all with fun and friendly service.

Cranes Mill Park is located on a long peninsula on the southwestern shore of Canyon Lake in Texas Hill Country, halfway between Austin and San Antonio. Dramatic sunrises to the east of the park across Canyon Lake and sunsets on the western side of the park behind the Guadalupe River make this an unforgettable location.
Cranes Mill Park offers a ramp for boating and two fishing piers. The Canyon Lake area has many options for recreation including: helicopter tours, boating, kayaking, canoeing, jet-skiing, dining, hiking, biking, fishing, camping, waterskiing, parasailing, horseback riding, guided gorge tours , river tubing, and much more. Anglers are welcome to try their hand at trout fishing in the Guadalupe River between the dam and New Braunfels.

Primitive Camping Primitive campsites with picnic tables, barbecue grills, fire rings, and plenty of trees for shade and privacy are scattered along the cliffs and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The east and north sides of Pace Bend offer more gentle, sloping shorelines with sandy and gravel beaches, providing easy access to the lake for families with young children and people with disabilities. Numerous primitive campsites can be found among the oak and mesquite trees and all are within a short walk to the lake. Camping on the beach is also permitted. Please note that primitive camping permits do not include shower privileges. Waterless toilets are available. Improved Camping Pace Bend offers 20 improved campsites, with water and electrical hook-ups, showers and restrooms. These sites are all located on the east side of the park just above Levi Cove, within easy walking distance to the lake. They feature plenty of shade trees and flat, grassy areas for tent camping. All sites are back-ins only. Reservations are highly recommended. Parking is available on site. A maximum of two vehicles may occupy a site.

Potters Creek Park is situated on the northern shore of Canyon Lake in the rolling hill country of South Central Texas. Visitors enjoy coming to Canyon Lake for boating, swimming and fishing. The Guadalupe River is a great location for canoeing, kayaking and tubing. Both the lake and river are stocked with a variety of fish for each habitat including various bass, catfish, or river trout. Hiking, biking, horseback riding, birding, and wildlife viewing are popular activities in the surrounding hills. Five trails are available at different locations around the lake. There is a mountain biking trail, a horse trail, and several foot trails. You can not rent any items from the park, but must bring your own gear for all recreational activities.
The park is settled among Juniper and native Oaks on gently sloping terrain on the shore of Canyon Lake. Thick oak and juniper surround the upper campsites; sites closer to the waterfront are in full sun. Grassy fields of native hill country plants and wildflowers dot the landscape. Rocky outcroppings are scattered throughout the park.
Canyon Lake is near many sites of interest including Natural Bridge Caverns and the historic town of Gruene in New Braunfels.

Rockport is 35 min either way traffic so it’s not a short drive. If you want to eat or shop you’re going to Corpus so keep that in mind. We were here close to a month and had 2 really nice warm sunny days and the rest were gloomy, foggy at night and windy. Corpus seemed to have more sunshine. Corpus drivers drive like demons and cut you off even if they don’t have to- you really gotta be on your toes. The park is nice, clean pools, 2 dog parks, it’s quiet and secure. Office staff were very nice and accommodating. Sites are cement with fire pit and picnic table. Every night they have something going on and they send a text each day with activities. They text you when you get a shipment. Sites are nice distance from one another and nice size. Fit our 43’ Motorhome with dolly. If not for the fact there is absolutely nothing to do in this area- we would stay again.

Quiet clean park with great, friendly staff. $17 a day is based on $525 monthly rate. Common bath house and laundry is always clean and ready to use. No amenities such as pool or hot tub or overhead RV shades. Wide, mostly level, gravel pull thru and back in sites. Sites up on the hill get a nice breeze and feel secluded. Many are monthly residents but all RVs and spots are kept clean and friendly! Close to the lake, local rivers and 20min drive to New Braunfels. Sitting right in hill country gives amazing views and drives in all directions.

We visited this campground in early December and stayed overnight. We found the campground overpriced ($99), and practically empty except for what seemed like temporary area workers. But what made this place a “no-go” for us were the constant nonstop trains running throughout the night!

We had a site with a large cement pad, a very clean bbq grill, fire pit, round picnic table/chairs & a sliding comfortable patio chair for two! We especially loved the guest area where you could order food and relax with the other guests or take the food back to your campsite. Would love to come back & stay even longer!

The park only has six campsites left. The rest have been converted to rentals of Airstreams or large tents for $150+ a night. There are three pretty good sites for large rigs in the interior and three camp sites facing the lake right next to each other. The trails and kayaking are great. Nice showers. I was here during the week and there were two large trailers and all the rentals were empty.
GuideWe are seasoned and well traveled RVers for over 20 years and here are our thoughts and review of Arch Ray Resort. We booked two nights at Arch Ray Resort. While it was a very nice campground with level gravel sites it lacked in the resort aspect. We understand this is a new campground/resort and the amount of emails and phone calls we got to tell us so was a little annoying especially since none of those things are open. The email was very specific on checking in with gate guard to receive wristbands and packet. There is no gate guard and no gate. Luckily we knew the site number from our email confirmation so we just pulled to our site where a packet was attached. We knew the clubhouse and pool were not open as they are currently under construction in the site next door where the main campground will be. These sights seem to be for future short term camping potentially. Also there is no restrooms, shower house, laundry or anything made available. Also the trail to walk to the restaurant, brewery and distillery is not marked or not marked well as we only knew about it because of campground map. While the campground is nice and the sites are level the $29 resort fee should not have been charged as there are zero resort amenities at this time. The administration fee of $4.46 and the reservation guarantee of $14.58 to able to cancel should something arise are all excessive.
We enjoyed the restaurant, brewery and distillery and the food and drinks were good but as for staying at the campground/resort we will not be staying there again. This could have been a 5 star review

Was absolutely stunning, it’s on a cliff top so your “backyard” is a small trail to a gorgeous overlook of the lake and adjacent cliffs. I didn’t expect to be given this view. The campsite itself is also fairly shaded and there are some cacti but it’s the best spot I’ve stayed at while being there!
