The Best Camping Near New Braunfels, Texas

the staff are very friendly, always a great time here. You have multiple options on where you can camp you can have rv hook ups and primitive campsites as well all along the river area lots of shade spots as well.

Beautiful friendly camp spot

During the summer, Texans flock to the rivers and lakes to enjoy the outdoors and keep cool. Near the town of New Braunfels there are a number of RV parks and campgrounds that can accommodate just about any need.

In the town of New Braunfels there is an HEB grocery store and Buc-ee's gas station to stock up on any supplies. If you've never stopped at a Buc-ee's gas station you should. Buc-ee's is a mega gas station, convenience store and road side attraction all in one. Their bathrooms are always super clean.

I was on a little fishing trip and decided to check out a few campgrounds in the area.

Landa RV park is a solid choice. The staff are super friendly and while it is a small campground, they offer nice amenities. At the entrance of the park there’s a admission office and small store. All the campsites have drive-up parking spaces, electricity, water and the picnic tables. There are some campsites that are located right along the river. I think site #506 is one of the best sties. There is a little premium on the price, but it is well worth it for quick access to the river. RVs are allowed to park at the camping sites along the river. However, there is also a designated RV lot with complete hook ups. There is a community space with some picnic tables. The restroom facilities are located near the RV lot. The facilities are modern and clean with flush toilets and shower stalls. They even have a laundry room on site. Next to the campground there are facilities to rent tubes if you want to float down the river. I actually came to this area to fly fish and I caught a number of small panfish. There are also bass and trout in the river.

Whether your visiting to fish, float or just relax this campground is a relaxing place to visit.

We always have a great time camping here. We love our little spot on the river. While it's not secluded so to speak it's a great place to float. There is some road noise at night.

Fun little place.

This is a nice park located right in town. Great for RV camping but your not going to get lost any time soon. Very clean they have showers and all the ammonites. Also have nice tables at all sites.

If you’re here to float this is your campground. No frills but right on the river. They rent tubes and will shuttle you back. 
Campground itself is very basic but its a short walk into town.
Train tracks run right past park so be prepared for train noise at all hours.

River Front camping 

A quaint RV resort right off of Walnut street near the heart of New Braunfels, TX with lots of amenities on-site. The pool is open year-round &amp; heated to 90 degrees in the winter time. We are new to RV living &amp; this was a perfect place to try out our new travel trailer. I think site 19 was a great place to be, because nobody was on one side of us &amp; it was right across from the pool &amp; camp store. We will definitely return to this resort in the summertime.
