Beach Rd RV Park is a small, privately owned full-hookup RV park located at 1578 FM 2031 in Matagorda, Texas, about 100 miles southwest of Houston on the Texas Gulf Coast. The 22-site park sits adjacent to the Colorado River, a short drive from Matagorda Beach, and caters primarily to RV travelers seeking a clean, no-frills base for fishing and coastal recreation.
Facilities
All 22 sites are full-hookup with 20/30/50-amp electric service, water, sewer, and complimentary WiFi included in daily and weekly rates. Sites are gravel with an 11×35 ft concrete RV pad and an 8×10 ft concrete patio pad. RVs up to 42 ft are accepted. Dumpsters are provided on site. Pets are welcome (limit 2 per site). No tent camping is permitted.
Recreation
The park is located 0.2 miles from the River Bend public boat ramp on the Colorado River, providing easy access to bay fishing, offshore fishing charters, and kayaking. An on-site fishing guide is available for guided trips. Matagorda Beach is approximately 8 minutes away by car. The surrounding area is noted for birding, with Matagorda Bay Nature Park nearby.
