We booked a last minute reservation (meaning 3 months ago these days) and were so excited to finally camp here. We had read that campgrounds A and E were the best. We thought we had lucked up with an open spot in A17. The description said it was moderately sloped. We thought, “it can’t be too bad at moderate”. We were so wrong!!! We Have a LevelMatePRO, and at BEST, we were off 11 inches left to right and 8 inches front to back. Many of the campsites are uneven, but this one is TERRIBLE. The state park is beautiful. Just be prepared to level and do your research!
