Short-stay is a beautiful camp right on Lake Moultrie a short distance from Charleston, SC. They have descent wifi and an pretty well stocked camp store, but the main attraction is huge Lake Moultrie. Great for fishing, swimming, camping, RV, and much more. There is a swimming beach and the camp…

We just visited the Myrtle Beach KOA and stayed in one of their rustic camping cabins. First the good — The staff we dealt with were pleasant and helpful. The campground was generally clean and there was a reasonable amount of space between the sites. Now the bad — we arrived at 4:30pm to check…
Great weekend getaway spot close to everything you need. Lovely park, bouncy blob, splash park and open pool. Everything was within walking distance and they even offer golf cart rentals to get around town easier. Only downside was the had cold showers.
We spent April 17-19 here. Beautiful spot on the intercostal waterway. Well maintained and lots of room between campsites. They have a couple of nature walks. Close to Charleston, SC.
We camped during off season (November) and I am truly impressed by how not-beachy this site is! Great tree cover, close to the beach. Very nice and clean.

The campground was clean and peaceful. Pet friendly. Dogs had a blast on the trails and finding a little hidden beach!
We only stayed here one night as we were traveling to points south. It was February, so not packed full, but a fair amount of “winter camping” enthusiasts in the park. Typical of a KOA, sites are rather closely packed. It’s very nicely wooded for the most part and there are a variety of options to…

As we got closer to the KOA our expectations began to drop since we were driving through residential and commercial areas. But we were very pleasantly surprised at how quiet and relaxing the campground is! The campsites are nicely shaded, spacious and range from tent sites to deluxe pull-throughs…
Stayed 3 nights and had a great time. Feels as if you're out away from everything, yet only 2 blocks from beach.
Surely Labor Day weekend is one of their busiest weekends for multiple reasons. Even with that we had a great time. The kids enjoyed the amenities and we enjoyed our wooded pull-thru spot. If anything, IMHO, can be improved it would be a more relaxed check-out time. On the busiest weekend it’s…
I have stayed at here several times over the years. I’ve done primitive camping as well as staying in the cabins. I really enjoyed the multitude of options when it comes to outdoor activities. Kayaking, boating, paddle boarding, and fishing just to name a few. The facilities are well laid out and…
Last minute decision to camp overnight. This place only had a couple spots left and they were in the back of the park. We drove past some cute cabins and RVs to our site. Fire pit included as well as water and bathrooms. Spaces weren’t too close to the other sites. Spent $40 for one night.
It was a wonderful camp ground! A lot of fun for my 9 yr old son! We loved it and will definitely be going back again!
The campsite itself is pretty wonderful. Many of the sites are right along the waterway. There's plenty of room for kids to play and there's a trail head to the Palmetto Trail.
Our tent site was 3rd to the last, closet to the wood. A decent walk to the bathhouse, but not unreasonable at all,…
Love the sites and pools, close walk to the beach
