Hidden gem

We have camped here numerous times. We always visited off season, so technically the campground wasn’t open, but there are three spots outside of the gate that are open year around, roads permitting. Quiet little campground with a delightful stream running through it. Restrooms (drop toilets), that may or may not be open off season.

Quiet even during Rally week

Took a chance on finding a space during Sturgis Rally. I just wanted to view Perseid meteor shower. There were 3 open spots as most motorcycles stay off of gravel roads. Creek was close, plus there were 2 easy trails nearby that are not on AllTrails. Host Bob kept the grounds and toilets tidy.

Beautiful, well maintained

We loved this little campground. The hosts were so friendly. They kept the place neat and clean. The vault toilet was clean and spacious. It's quiet and private. You're surrounded by pine trees, and Box Elder Creek flows nearby. We will definitely camp there again.

So Good We Had to Stay A Second Night

Clean small and private campground, the campsites here are perfect for tent camping and the area is absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely recommend and forsure coming back. 10/10

Nice

This is a nice little campground to get away from the hussle of the city. The tent sites are level and great for tent camping. The is a little creek in the park and at the time we were there it was flowing big. Nice area, would go back.

Gorgeous!

My family and some friends of ours camped here for a few days in tents. We absolutely loved it! A ranger stays on site also if you need anything. There is also a store nearby if you forget anything. A beautiful creek flows next to the campground for wading. I would love to go back! My children still talk about it.
