Siuslaw NF Dispersed off FR 1700 (Drift Creek Falls Road)

Deep in the Coast Range foothills of the Siuslaw National Forest, this corridor of small pull-offs sits along a forest road near Ball Mountain, surrounded by dense Pacific Northwest second-growth. The access track is rough and steep enough that 4WD and high clearance are strongly advised — low-clearance or 2WD vehicles have had serious difficulty, particularly when the surface is wet. Spots offer a measure of quiet and seclusion, with intermittent cell signal available at some pull-offs.
