Wetmore Campground is located near Unity, Oregon, within the Umatilla National Forest. The area features forested terrain with a mix of trees and open spaces. Temperatures range from lows in the 30s Fahrenheit in winter to highs in the 80s during summer. Wetmore Campground is one of three Wallowa-Whitman campgrounds along Highway 26, which is part of the Journey Through Time Scenic Byway. The campground offers campsites for both tents and small trailers, and has three accessible campsites. Popular activities include; overnight camping for visitors traveling across the state, picnicking and exploring the scenic byway. There is also an accessible, barrier-free, trail to Yellow Pine Campground. The site has been used by large groups who have had picnics on the large tables by the upper spring.

The Best Camping Near Unity, Oregon

One vault toilet, nice padded tent spots, access to water, $5 a night. Nice little paved hike that is wheelchair accessible and let's you see some nice big trees. Very quiet on a Friday night in June.

Lots of space between spaces. In the trees. Clean pot toilet. 

Primitive - quiet - nice!

Super beautiful and well kept. We came in the summer and ran into no issues finding an open site. Bathroom was well attended and the spaces were nice and spread out 

Super sick!

Beautiful and serene USFS campground. Lots of trees, but somewhat enough clearing for some solar. Clean and maintained non-gendered pit toilets. No garbage service or any other kind of service. $15/night, self pay at the entrance with cash or check. 14 day stay limit. We were able to fit into the sites in our 26ft class c.
