Frazier Campground & Trailhead is located near Ukiah in the [Umatilla National Forest](https://thedyrt.com/camping/oregon/near/umatilla-national-forest). The area features forested terrain with trails for hiking and exploring. Temperatures range from 30°F in winter to 85°F in summer, and nearby attractions include the North Fork John Day Wilderness and Olive Lake.

This campground serves as the northern gateway to the Winom-Frazier Off Highway Vehicle (OHV) trail system, with over 100 miles of trail to ride. It features 20 campsites and 4 accessible vault toilets. There is a large day-use picnic shelter near the campground entrance. Trailhead parking and an interpretive sign is located in the upper loop of the campground, near the Butcherknife Trail #3189. There is no potable water or garbage service, so please pack your garbage home. The nearby area offers hunting, OHV riding, sight-seeing, and photography. The Tower Fire Lookout is a little more than 9 miles south of the campground on Forest Service Road 5226.

Frazier OHV campgrounds has three areas, entrance with covered picnic area and two campsites along with a ramp to unload OHV. Middle loop with #15 to #20 camp site. Then upper loop with #3 to #14 camp site, five of those sites are group sites. Take your garbage and bring your water. You are close to trails and drive up the 5226 forest road to see the site of Frazier guard station, and Fire Look out area. Off hwy 244 on forest road 5226 less than a mile from highway.
