This is a popular put-in for the wilderness section of the Rogue River, http://www.allaboutrivers.com/rivers-in-oregon/wilderness-run-RUN194.html. I've camped here many times. Several pit bathrooms and the camp host keeps a solid supply of firewood available.

This is just a couple miles downstream from the ranger station where you'll check in on launch day. Huge site. Probably holds over a 200 people.
