Lostine River

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Sitting along the Lostine River in Wallowa National Forest, this small, rustic campground puts campers within a few steps of the water. Sites are drive-in with picnic tables, fire rings, and toilet facilities. No fee or a modest charge of up to $10 per night applies. Rafters use the area as a put-in, so expect some river traffic on busier days. Mid-week visits in June draw light crowds. Two Pan sits just down the road for campers who want a comparable alternative, and those planning a longer stay can browse campgrounds near Joseph for additional options in the region.

Beautiful Spot on the River

Beautiful, rustic small campground just a few steps from the river. Hardly anyone here mid-week in June. Seems to be a popular place for rafters to put in. Saw a few groups float by.

So scenic and relaxing.
