BLM Dispersed near Burns-Izee Road

High-desert BLM land on the outskirts of Burns, Oregon, tucked into a treed draw that sits noticeably cooler and more sheltered than the open sage flats surrounding it. A lightly rutted dirt road winds to multiple camping spots — smaller clearings near the entrance and roomier sites further in, some with established fire rings and ample firewood. RVs and trailers have parked here comfortably, and a gap in a chicken-wire gate near the end of the road opens onto a trail down into the valley below.
