Clean and Peaceful

We had mechical problems with the MH and they held our site for us until we got here a few days later. Friendly owners, guide you to your site, very clean Park, well maintained. Prices are reasonable for the area. Beautiful setting. Big enough for our 40' MH, we unhooked.

Amazing hospitality!

I’d been looking for a place to stop and kept striking out. I called Pines and they had a spot available so I took it sight unseen. I was absolutely thrilled when I pulled in. Lou and Pat were amazing. Lou insisted on helping me back into my site so that my door was perfectly placed on the picnic table pad. He showed me the hookups and amenities of the camp. The bathhouse was sparkling clean. The site was beautiful. They do only accept cash or checks, but I’d absolutely recommend Pines for your travel break.

Feels like home

This place is just fantastic ! Family owned and operated this little gem is a great place to kick back and relax. Got us in last minute and right before a snow storm! Unbelievably sweet and accommodating.. cannot say enough good things about this place.

Old School Gem

This small family run campground reminds me of the camp grounds I visited with my grandfather. Lou meets you at the office and guides you to your campsite and politely offers to guide you in. We used his help and he guided us in to an inch of the cement pad for our front porch. Hook ups are old but well maintained. The campground has tent to big rig spots and about a third of the sites are filled with year round or seasonal campers. Tent sites are near the small stream running behind the grounds. Clean bathhouse, rec-room with pool table and two cabins to rent. Overall a great location with easy access to Franklin NC for food and breweries. AT and Bartram trail access nearby, lake and river are close. I would give it a try no matter how you camp.
