The Best Camping Near Shelby, North Carolina

I have stayed here twice now. The guys that take care of the campground are awesome. They that u with respect and address any concerns immediately. It is fairly quiet mist of time. The weekends are starting to pick up with the season. The lake has great fishing.

Local to me but 20 a knight u can’t beat it . 

Great price for nice campsite 

Stayed 1 night at a tent site.  Had a hot shower and facilities were nice.  Each site has a ring for fire/grill/ picnic table.   

  

Only has 3 tent sites.  I don' think tent campers can stay at the others.  I didn't see the tent pad that they had at my site and just pitched the tent on the ground.

  

FYI you have to call up to make reservations.  I arrived late and they gave me the code to the bathrooms over the phone and the wifi password.  

  

you could hear road noise at night but didn't bother me.

Nice small campground

We were only here for 2 nights but we were very happy. Quiet, clean, and well taken care of grounds. No cable but Wi-Fi was awesome.
