Description
Two full hook-ups on a beautiful horse farm in the Green Creek area of Polk county, NC. We are 10 minutes from TIEC (Tryon International Equestrian Center) and we can accommodate your horse(es) in pasture or barn stall (if available; additional charge for stall may apply).
We live in the old blue farmhouse on the other side of the driveway and we have a tenant in the nearby barn apartment. Normal quiet times apply for everyone.
We have free range chickens on the property so dogs must be leashed at all times.
The RV sites are just off the road but hardly anyone ever drives by so you can take your time backing into the “Outside the Fence” site or pulling into the “Inside the Fence” site ( the gate will be closed but not locked). There is a streetlight if you come in after dark.
We are less than an hour from the cities of Asheville, Spartanburg, and Greenville, but there is not much to do in Green Creek, which is the way we like it. Of course, there is a Dollar General a few miles away but anyone in the south can make that claim. Oh yeah, Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are less than 20 miles away.
Jackwagon Farm is named in honor of R. Lee Ermey, a great actor and Marine Gunny who made the best commercial ever.
