Description
BLM desert flats in the Carlsbad Field Office sit just east of the dramatic Guadalupe Mountains escarpment, with the silhouettes of El Capitan, Guadalupe Peak, and Hunter Peak dominating the western skyline at dusk. The setting is open high-desert with reliable cell signal and sweeping evening light across the range. Chosa Campground lies about a kilometer to the north if a more established option is needed.
