Very Nice With Beautiful Views

We arrived on a Monday morning and were fortunate enough to get a hookup site just as someone was leaving. This campground is pretty popular, so that is probably the only way that you will find a site. Our site was on the outside of the loop near the entrance of the campground so we had beautiful unobstructed views of the valley below. It was big enough that we could get our truck camper and my brother's pickup in the same site although they do charge for an extra vehicle.  The restrooms were nice although the showers were a little disappointing. There was no drain in the shower itself, so the water ran across the floor into the changing area. Therefore, no dry space for changing. Also, no hooks for towels or clothes. Campground was quiet and the stargazing was awesome.

This park is very popular, so there is a lot of traffic during the day and parking areas at trailheads and overlooks can fill up. They shut down the entrances at sunset, so no traffic at night. We entered the park through the East entrance and got right in. When we left on Wednesday morning we exited through the West entrance and there was a line of probably 100 cars waiting to get in.
