Description
Perched near the summit of Union Hill in the Toiyabe National Forest above the Loneliest Highway in America, this open high-desert pullout commands 360-degree views of central Nevada's basin-and-range landscape with remarkably little highway noise despite sitting just a mile from US-50. The access road climbs at a steady steep grade on a narrow dirt track — manageable for cars and light truck campers, but tight enough that large trailers should plan carefully for the turnaround. No fire ring, no shade, and no wind barriers, so exposed conditions on gusty days; strong cell signal and clear skies overhead make it a fine overnight for those prepared for the openness.
