TLDR; quick & easy drive (minus a little stretch to drive down to the river), beautiful riverside view, pleasant and generous neighboring campers.

Caution: be smarter than your average chump and don’t park on the lose rocks close to the river....but if you do, thank the wonderful locals for being so helpful for the tow.

What a gem, so quick and easy to get to. We don’t like to plan and prefer the “universe is on our side” method, so this was such a fantastic find when we couldn’t snag a last min spot in glacier. It took about 15min to get to from the park exit and we loved being right by the river! The current is obviously strong but there’s a nice nook to take a morning swim.
