Pomme De Terre Lake
Overview
Pomme de Terre lake is divided into two arms which extend from the damsite. Nemo landing is located on the shorter arm, which follows the long and winding Lindley Creek and features numerous coves.Although Pomme de Terre is small in comparison to other lakes in Missouri, its clear, deep waters have plenty to offer visitors.
Recreation
Visitors can find ideal fishing locations in one of the many tucked away coves, abundant with bass, walleye, crappie, catfish and muskie. Muskie is particularly popular as Pomme de Terre is the only lake in Missouri with a notable amount of the species. Jet skiing, water skiing and canoeing are also popular water sports. Across the Road from the campground is Nemo Marina, one of four full-service marinas on the lake, offering fuel, storage, tackle and rentals.
Facilities
Among the many campsites at Nemo Landing, 38 have electric and water hookups, 25 standard electric sites, 15 non-electric sites, and a group camp with 11 electric and water sites. Other campground amenities include hot showers, a swimming beach, boat ramp, playground and amphitheater.
Natural Features
Pomme de Terre Lake is located in the rugged, tree-topped hills of the west-central Missouri Ozarks. The lake stems mostly from the Pomme de Terre River and boasts 113 miles of shoreline.
Nearby Attractions
The Pomme de Terre Multipurpose Trail, located in Bolivar Landing, is great for hikers, bikers and is the only trail that allows horses. Another option is the Indian Point Trail, located in the Pittsburg State Park, this trail ends on a rock platform overlooking the lake for a very scenic view.

From Springfield, MO, take US 65 north past Louisburg, MO, to NN Highway. Follow NN Highway south to Nemo, MO. Turn south at the 4-way stop and find the entrance to Nemo Landing on the left side of the highway.

We where located at spot 29 on the campsite. It was amazing only reason for not getting a 5 star was, we had a group that was not camping show up to do some night swimming at the beach (9:00-9:30). Other than that campsite was extremely clean, bathrooms well maintained, great stay.

Clean, well kept, campsites are semi private but close to the water. Not a long distance from bathrooms or the swimming beach.

Nemo is a beautiful campground with nice sized gravel pads. Plenty of room for your vehicle and trailer. Nice long picnic table. Rated it 4-star only because there are no full hookup sites available. However, the restroom-shower areas are clean and spacious.
It is a very quiet park with great views of the lake, plenty trees, and nice open sky areas to stargaze. We had a super time just relaxing and enjoying sunrises and sunsets, along with meals cooked outdoors.

RangerAwesome Location on Pomme De Terre verify your site!!!!
First off I would say that this is a five star capable campground but little things dropped it in my book.
To lead the way Nemo Landing listed on The Dyrt is actually the marina and the campground is on the opposite side of the highway not a biggie but worth noting. We stayed in sites 62 and 66. On Rec.Gov Site both appeared to be almost waterfront and they were located in a much different spot. We ended up on the main drive path 4 sites above the water. The sites themselves are gravel pads with 6x6 tie borders. All sites are REALLY CLOSE to eachother. Not a huge issue for me.
We were walking distance to the shower house and it was absolutely a disaster. Standing water in the floor, all 4 contained a toilet and shower and all four had spigot issues. Again not a deal breaker for me. The only reason I dropped this to a 3 and not a 4 star revue was the layout of the sites. Most of the pads were wide enough for 2 campers yet due to layout you could barely get a truck in the sites let alone a camper. Low power lines, support lines for giant power towers across driveways and the last issue was no room to back in a camper. We ended up helping several couple back in their sites as they were having issues. So please verify your site before booking.
Other than these issues the water was busy but close and the entire campground is swim-able from any site. I enjoyed my weekend but will probably book elsewhere on this fantastic lake if possible.

GuideGreat campground
The facilities are nice and clean, it has a playground and a great swim beach and lots of shoreline in case the beach is full. The sites are well maintained, some electric sites are a little close together, but your camper should block the neighbors. It's within 5 miles of a dollar general and gas station and a bowling alley that has great pizza, in case you don't feel like cooking. We love site 75 and 68 with lakefront access and privacy

We camped here about 2 weeks ago in a pop up. We were in site 54. It had a beautiful lake view and plenty of shade. It does fork off to another site but luckily those people didn't show up. We don't normally camp with a water hookup so that was definitely nice to have. The bathrooms were close and mostly clean. The playground was amazing! And the swim beach was great too. Overall, this has been our favorite campground and we'll definitely be returning.
