COE Council Grove Lake Canning Creek Cove

Anglers and lake enthusiasts will find direct water access at COE Council Grove Lake Canning Creek Cove, an Army Corps of Engineers campground operating from mid-April through October. The campground accommodates RVs up to 120 feet with electric and water hookups, plus a dump station for extended stays.

Sites include covered picnic tables with lake views, and campers report good fishing opportunities right from the shoreline. The location sits away from main roads but remains close enough to Council Grove for supply runs. Cell coverage proves spotty with Verizon service, so plan accordingly for connectivity needs during your stay.

Amazing Sunrise and Excellent Sites

COE did a great job providing cozy site with lake access. Covered picnic table, lake view, good fishing.

Out of the way but close enough to town to get supplies. Poor cell coverage with Verizon
