Goldenrodgap

Goldenrod Gap is a refuge nestled in the mountains of eastern Kentucky, minutes from Red River Gorge, Natural Bridge, Cave Run Lake, Broke Leg Falls Park and the Sheltowee Trace Trail.

CAMPSITES are easily accessed from the highway and include water, electricity and high speed internet. We offer several sites for camping. Site #1 & #2 have electrical hookup, city water, showerhouse, restroom, fire pits, high speed Internet, (strong connections at site #1 & #2 , some connectivity at #3 & #4), an RV dump station and video surveillance cameras are on site. There is a Glamp site #2 with a huge furnished Bell tent to the right of the Shower house, the Maranda. It is furnished with a queen air mattress, table and chairs.Thete ard two rustic sites up on the ridge.

The entrance access to camp is limited to shorter trailers, camper vans and campers or RVs under 25 feet.

Please drop in after a long days journey on the trails, cliffs or a day on the lake and enjoy a respite from the hustle and bustle of the world out there. Pitch a tent and sleep under a clear bed of stars, which will produce a glorious display, especially if you are viewing from the ridge line and if you are lucky you might hear a whippoorwill trill.
