Thank You for choosing one of the few privatly owned campgrounds located near Rend Lake. We are approx. 5 minutes west of the Visitor Center, and possably the only campground that welcomes campers all year round. If your in the area winter or summer for work or play we have full hook-up sites and rates to accommodate your needs. No camper, not a problem, we have camper rentals on site. Stop pulling and start enjoying, we offer long term full hook-up sites that will accommodate the toys you use to enjoy rend lake and all that the area has to offer.

For everyone to have a fun, safe and relaxing camping experience, all campers and guests must read and follow the rules and regulation which have been established in accordance with the state of IL.

• 5 MPH speed limit is thru out the campground and must be observed always
• Camping fees are for a family of 6.
• A charge of $5.00 for each additional person up to 8
• One camping unit per site, this includes tents. (screen rooms are ok)
• Campers are responsible for the conduct of their children and guests.
• Guest are allowed only when you are present.
• Fire in fire rings only. Do not leave fire unattended.
• DO NOT BURN TRASH IN FIRE RINGS. (it STINKS for everyone)
• Only bagged trash is acceptable in dumpsters. (No yard waste, tires, appliances, etc, etc)
• Do not enter or play in someone else's campsite unless you are invited.
• Children must always be under parent supervision.
• PLEASE TEACH YOUR CHILDREN CAMPER COURTESY. Respect other people's campsites and privacy.
• The restaurant and the grounds around it are for restaurant customers only. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• No BB guns, paintball guns, or other potentially dangerous recreational weaponry. This includes fireworks.
• No water toys or sprinklers. (this includes slip-n-slides, etc..)
• Unlicensed vehicles are not allowed to be driven in the park. (scooters, 4-wheelers, golf carts, etc. etc.)
• All licensed vehicles are to be driven to and from your campsite by a licensed driver.
• No fish guts in dumpsters or creek.
• Quiet time is 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. weekdays and 12:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. weekends.
• Check out time is 3:00 p.m.
• NO DOGS DEAMED VICIOUS.
• PETS CANNOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED.
• PETS MUST ALWAYS BE ON A LEASH. (NO shock or radio-controlled collars)
• Old Bates Campground LLC. Reserves the right to ask you to leave the grounds at any time for any violation of rules by you, anyone in your camping party and or guests. If you are asked to leave your party must leave immediately. NO refunds of any kind will be given.
• Your camping unit must be insured by you.
• Old Bates Campground LLC. reserves the right to refuse service to anyone and will not be responsible for accidents or injuries to our guests or their camping units, nor for the loss of money or valuables of any kind. Rules are subject to change without notice and in accordance with IL Dept. Of Public Health.
• By reserving and or booking on line you are agreeing that you have read and understand the list of rules and regulation.
• Please respect our facilities, wildlife, trees and plants. (Bunnies and chickens)
• Report inappropriate behavior and vandalism to the office. Information given will be kept confidential.
• We do not pro-rate camping fees.
• No refund or transfer of camping fees if camper is sold or moved out.
