Norton Bay Road BLM Dispersed — Salmon Falls Creek Reservoir

High-desert BLM terrain in southern Idaho's Snake River Plain, this open flat sits along Norton Bay Road near the upper end of Salmon Falls Creek Reservoir. The access road is mostly hard-packed dirt with one short sandy stretch, passable for 2WD rigs with reasonable clearance — a Class C motorhome has made it the full three miles to the turnaround flat where most campers set up. Continuing past the turnaround toward the water's edge requires higher ground clearance, and posted algae advisories have been noted at the reservoir's shoreline.
