Two campgrounds sit across the road from each other here, a layout worth knowing before arrival. The older site has tighter spacing and does not accommodate larger fifth wheels well, while the newer area is more open. Toilets are on-site, campfires are permitted, and pets are welcome. The season runs July 4 through Labor Day. A creek nearby reportedly allows gold panning, and trails extend into the surrounding Nezperce National Forest. Fire damage from 2022 significantly affected the area, so conditions may differ from older trip reports. This campground makes the most sense for campers with smaller rigs who want direct trail and creek access.
