Five Mile is located near Elk City, Idaho, surrounded by forested terrain. The area experiences temperatures ranging from 20°F in winter to 80°F in summer. Campers can explore the nearby Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests and the historic Red River Hot Springs.
Description
National Forest
Situated in open, tall timber, this campground is popular for family camping, in that it is near a fishing and swimming pond (Five Mile Pond), has a creek flowing by the site, and has easy access to Crooked River. Fire rings with camp sites grace the campground.

From State Highway 14, turn south on Crooked River Road #233 and travel approximately 10.5 miles to the campground on the right.
