Within Nezperce National Forest, Castle Creek provides established camping with basic Forest Service amenities including toilets. The campground accommodates RVs up to 30 feet and sits near both creek and river water sources.
One reviewer noted the trees work well for hammock camping, though site sizes vary with some camping areas being smaller despite larger parking spots. The campground fills completely during peak season, offering reasonable privacy between sites while neighbors remain visible. Campers can explore places to camp around Grangeville for additional options in the region.
