Description
A reservoir beach corridor within Boise National Forest, situated above the Boise River canyon just downstream of Arrowrock Dam — a stretch of lake frontage that, under the right conditions, offers a mile of sandy shoreline for swimming and waterside camping. The access road past the dam is narrow, potholed, and single-lane with blind corners, making it suitable only for cars, vans, and high-clearance trucks towing small trailers. Conditions at the site have been persistently problematic in recent years, with long-term unauthorized occupants reported as recently as October 2025; prospective visitors should scout carefully before committing.
